Copyright Notice & Removal Procedure
We employ and/or contract many different designers and programmers to develop the homepage themes we offer for public use, therefore it's almost impossible to trace every single image used back to its origin, unless the image itself is obviously marked as being the legally copyrighted property of another. We do not intentionally infringe on the rights of others, but we also acknowledge, given our industry, that protected works are bound be included in our sites eventually.
If you feel your copyright(s) are being infringed upon, please follow the procedure below to either be credited for your work, or to request the removal of your work from our websites. We understand the time and talent involved in creating original artworks, therefore you have our deepest apologies if your work has found its way into our system without you being given adequate credit.
The following information is provided solely for notifying CRAZYhomeapges that your copyrighted material may have been infringed.
We caution you that under federal law, if you knowingly misrepresent that online material is infringing, you may be subject to heavy civil penalties. These include monetary damages, court costs, and attorney fees incurred by CRAZYhomepages.com, by any copyright owner, or by any copright owner's licensee that is injured as a result of our relying upon your misrepresentation. You may also be subject to criminal prosecution for perjury.
The large majority of our homepage themes are being continuously used by many of our fans. This is something to take into consideration when requesting the removal of your work. The hompage theme that you claim is infringing upon your copyright, may become a valuable marketing tool. Please decide whether you want your work completely removed, or if you'd prefer to be given credit as the original owner. This is your choice, and we'll accomodate either request, given that proof of your ownership is provided. When submitting the requires articles below, please indicate whether you want the work claimed to be infringing, removed or credited to you.
Pursuant to Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2), all notifications of claimed copyright infringement on the CRAZYhoempages.com system or any CRAZYhomepages™ Site should be sent ONLY to our Designated Agent.
Please send (in whole) your Notice of Claimed Infringement, including the below required items via our online contact form (located here).
Under Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(3)(A), the Notification of Claimed Infringement must include the following:
- An electronic or physical signature of the owner or of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
- Identification of the copyrighted work (or works) that you claim has been infringed;
- A description of the material that you claim is infringing, and the location where the original or an authorized copy of the copyrighted work exists (for example, the URL of the page of the web site where it is lawfully posted; the name, edition and pages of a book from which an excerpt was copied, etc.);
- A clear description of where the infringing material is located on our web site, including as applicable its URL, so that we can locate the material;
- Your address, telephone number, and e-mail address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A notarized statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
